It is a common belief that CBD is a miracle ingredient, and we tend to agree. But to what extent does it impact on weight and are all the general assumptions fact or myth? We have heard countless different opinions on the matter and we know that there is an endless stream of miscommunication – so we are here to put an end to those questions.
To be quite frank, research is still young and the impact of CBD on weight has minimal information – but out of the few case studies and articles about CBD for weight loss, it seems that there is in fact a great deal of potential.
Can CBD encourage weight gain?
There isn’t much research on this but one case study showed that 30% of people who were being treated for epilepsy with CBD actually experienced an increase in appetite. However, studies show varied and mixed results on its impact on weight gain.
While there is still a need for increased research into this subject and whether or not it can actually have a certain impact on weight loss, it does show incredible promise as seen in the several case studies that focused on this matter. CBD is in no way going to miraculously cure any metabolic disorders or weight gain, but it certainly shows potential in reducing these issues.
